This piece was created in one of the cafés that felt deeply peaceful to me. Right there, in the heart of that space, I placed my canvas on the easel and tried to pour the colors and emotions I was experiencing in the moment directly onto it. In the real setting, there was an empty spot meant for a cat; however, I added the cat into the painting to bring more warmth to the scene. The people in this work appear as halos of light, as I believe it is the inner light of human beings that can make the world of cafés more beautiful and serene.
